Tenant isolation

Four layers. Simultaneously enforced.

A single-layer failure does not expose one tenant to another. Inter-tenant traffic is impossible at the data plane, not just policy.

Per-tenant compute pool + ACL'd user. You see only your pool — nothing else exists from your point of view.

Per-tenant overlay network in a dedicated software-defined zone. East-west traffic between tenants is impossible at the data plane.

Firewall

Per-tenant FortiGate policy group. Inter-tenant traffic dropped by default; egress rate-limited per tier.

Per-tenant distributed block storage namespace + pool quotas. Raw storage backend is invisible — mediated only through the hypervisor.
